VANCOUVER - Clean up your act, Paris Hilton.
That's the message the celebrities' celebrity is getting from her cultural advisors in Dubai.
The socialite is in the United Arab Emirates filming her TV show My New BFF, and has hired some cultural advisors to school her in how to de-skimp her outfits.
The Muslim country is more open to displays female flesh than some of their orthodox neighbours, but still expects a dash of modesty, even from Paris.
And as for the most outrageous of the party girl's behaviour: fugghedaboutit.
A warning was issued in Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "She may be an airhead, but she's not about to run the risk of spending time in a Dubai prison, however unlikely that might seem."
That possibility apparently put a scare into the heiress to the stars. Drinking alcohol and public hanky-panky are illegal in Dubai.
Apparently, photos of Paris emerged this week of her cavorting on the Arabian beach wearing a wee bikini.
Oops.
The Daily Express reported: "Paris had made a big public speech, saying how much she loved the Middle East and respected its culture. But the following day
she was prancing around on the beach in her bikini and posing provocatively.
Bosses warned her Western tourists have been jailed for flouting the
rules."
So listen up: It ain't Paris, Paris.
